    摘要:

    跨境電商已成(chéng)爲外貿領域十分重要的新興業态,爲我國(guó)釋放消費潛力,促進(jìn)消費升級提供了新思路。爲檢驗跨境電商的發(fā)展是否會(huì)助力消費結構升級,在對(duì)跨境電商進(jìn)口規模衡量指标進(jìn)行創新的基礎上,基于2003—2016 年31 個省份的面(miàn)闆數據進(jìn)行了實證研究。結果發(fā)現,跨境電商進(jìn)口對(duì)居民消費結構升級具有明顯的直接促進(jìn)效應。該結論存在區域異質性與群體異質性,跨境電商進(jìn)口對(duì)消費結構升級的促進(jìn)效果在中部及東部地區和恩格爾系數較低的居民群體中更明顯。

    Abstract:

    Cross-border e-commerce has become a very important emerging industry in the field of foreign trade,providing a new idea for China to release its consumption potential and promote consumption upgrading. In order totest whether the development of cross-border e-commerce will help upgrade the consumption structure, on the basisof the innovation of cross-border e-commerce import scale measurement indicators, the empirical research was carriedout based on panel data of 31 provincial-level administrative regions from 2003 to 2016. The results show that crossbordere-commerce imports have a significant direct promotion effect on the upgrading of the consumption structure.This conclusion has regional heterogeneity and group heterogeneity: The promotion effect of cross-border e-commerceimports on the upgrading of consumption structure is more obvious in the central and eastern regions and the residentswith low Engel coefficient.
